Acceptance of terms

By creating a Winko account or using the Winko app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Winko.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
• One account per person. Impersonating someone else, or creating an account on behalf of someone who hasn't consented, isn't allowed.
• The information you provide (your name, age, photos, and profile details) must be accurate and your own.

Your account & verification

Winko uses passwordless sign-in: we email you a one-time code instead of asking you to create a password. Keep access to your email secure, since it's the key to your account.

New members must complete verification (through a work email, LinkedIn, or a manual document review) before their profile becomes visible to others. Submitting false, altered, or someone else's verification information is a violation of these terms and will result in account removal.

Community guidelines

Winko is a curated space. When using the app, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.
• Create fake, duplicate, or misleading profiles.
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other members.
• Post sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise prohibited content.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract data from Winko.
• Promote a business, service, or third-party platform through your profile or messages.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, at our discretion.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of the photos, prompt answers, and messages you post on Winko. By posting them, you give Winko a license to display that content within the app to the members you're shown to, and to use it for moderation and safety review (including automated and human review for prohibited content).

Safety

Verification on Winko confirms identity signals such as a work email or LinkedIn profile. It is not a background check and does not guarantee someone's intentions or character. Always exercise caution: video chat before meeting, meet in a public place for a first date, and tell a friend where you're going.

Use the in-app report and block tools if a member makes you uncomfortable or violates our guidelines.

Premium features

Winko's core features are free to use. We may offer optional paid features (for example, unlimited daily introductions or the ability to revisit a profile you've already swiped on). Paid features are described in more detail in our Payments & Billing page.

Suspension & termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent verification information, or put the safety of the community at risk.

Disclaimers & liability

Winko is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the platform trustworthy, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every member's information is fully accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Winko is not liable for interactions between members that occur outside the app, including in-person meetings arranged through the platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Winko, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email before they take effect.
